Illusions and confusions

As she opened her eyes from sleep, she felt confused. It took 10 mins of time to settle and to come back to normal. Then she started brushing her teeth, where parallelly many thoughts occupied her mind. Then she fell into her daily routine, got occupied with office work, engaged in watching movies in the night time and sleeping. But something is bothering her. She was feeling that something is haunting her or making her feel heavy. She is a strong lady who ignored all these thoughts.

One day she started cleaning unused items from her cupboard. She segregated items to dispose of. She particularly remembered a head phones case to dispose; however, she got deviated by something else. Once she is back to the cleaning, she searched for the case and to her surprise, did not find it anywhere around. She felt mysterious on this, as she was very sure she saw head phones case. Since, the case is of no use, she ignored it.

Two days later, she woke up from bed and observed that her gold ring is missing from her finger. She searched the bed, bathroom, and all other rooms, but still did not find it. She was sure that the ring would be inside the house only, as she saw it last night before sleeping. So, she again searched the bed with focus and found the ring. She was little upset on this incident as to why these kinds of incidents are happening to her.

Few days later, she returned back home and opened the door lock. Parallelly, she was checking the slippers in her shoe rack beside the door. She entered the home and before going to sleep she was searching for the home keys. To her surprise, she found them hanging to the entrance door. She blamed herself to be careful for these kinds of things going forward.

Days later, in the sleep she suddenly woke up and stared at the windows and doors whether they are closed properly or not for the safety purpose. She blamed any super natural force that might be controlling her mind, however concluded that none of these incidents are life threatening.

Few days later, she got high temperature and took off from work. She focused on her health and took complete rest. She became normal after 2 days. Next day, she got severely tired and went to bed much early than her usual time. The next day she woke up late with fresh mind. She had heavy breakfast.

After these incidents, she realized a positive change in her mindset and observed that all the confusions that were running around are not there and felt lighter.

In the self-introspection, she analysed each of the incidents and concluded that the mystery behind her psychological upsets is the lack of good sleep and timely food. Also, her mind got stressed due to multi-tasking with lost focus/concentration and over thinking. Also, she realized that once physical health is disturbed, it becomes priority and nothing can override it.

Because of her irregular timings, her mind started creating illusions and got diverted easily from the routine aspects causing stress and confusion which added heavy thoughts to her mind. To correct this permanently, she decided to rollback to the regular sleep and food timings to have a better psychological behaviour and give good rest to body and started practicing meditation for peace. She thanked herself having understood her mistake and correct it by self” Shailu completed reading the article in the newspaper. The next moment she was unable to find her spectacles on the table. She searched entire home. Story repeats……
